SEO Services

SEO that gets your business found.

Rank higher on Google for the searches your customers actually make. Real fixes, real content, and reporting that tells you what happened, from the person doing the work.

Most small business websites don't have a design problem. They have a findability problem.

A beautiful website on page four of Google brings in the same number of customers as no website at all. SEO is how you fix that: making sure Google understands what you do, where you do it, and why your site deserves to rank above the competition.

What's Included

What SEO actually involves

Technical SEO

Fixing what stops Google from crawling and understanding your site: speed, mobile issues, broken links, redirects, duplicate pages, indexing problems, and structured data.

On-page optimization

Titles, descriptions, headings, and copy written around what your customers search for, so each page has a clear job and a real chance to rank for it.

Content that ranks

Service pages, location pages, and articles that answer real questions. Not keyword-stuffed filler: pages people actually want to read and Google wants to show.

Local SEO

Your Google Business Profile, reviews, and the map pack, where most local calls come from. More on local SEO.

Authority and trust

Directory listings, consistent business information, and earned links that tell Google your business is real, established, and worth ranking.

Honest reporting

Every month you see what was done and what changed, straight from Google Search Console. No vanity metrics, and no hiding the months that were slow.

How It Works

How I work on your rankings

  1. Audit first

A full crawl of your site, your Search Console data analyzed query by query, and a look at who ranks above you and why. You get a prioritized list of what's actually costing you.

  2. Fix the foundation

Technical problems and quick wins first, because pages already sitting on page two are the fastest ground to gain.

  3. Build what's missing

New service and location pages, better content, and a stronger Google Business Profile, aimed at the searches with real buyers behind them.

  4. Measure and adjust

Monthly reporting on rankings, clicks, and calls, and the next month's work aimed at whatever the data says matters most.

Why Me

SEO from someone who also builds websites

Most SEO companies can only report on problems with your website. Because I design and build websites too, I can actually fix them: slow pages, messy structure, missing pages, broken redirects. That's a big part of why my clients' sites move.

Age Management of West Michigan nearly doubled their organic traffic after a redesign and ongoing SEO. And I hold myself to the same standard: when I audited my own site, I published everything I found, including the embarrassing parts.

Ongoing SEO runs on the monthly plans above, with no contracts. If you need a site that's built to rank from day one, start with web design.

Common Questions

SEO questions

How long does SEO take to work?

Quick wins, like fixing titles on pages that already rank on page two, can show up in a few weeks. Real ranking growth usually takes three to six months, and it compounds from there. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is selling something.

Do you guarantee rankings?

No, and nobody honest can. Google doesn't take requests. What I can promise is real work on the things that move rankings, and reporting that shows you exactly what changed.

Can you do SEO on a website you didn't build?

Yes. I do SEO on almost any platform: WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, Wix, and custom-coded sites. If someone else built yours, I review it first so every change is safe.

What's the difference between SEO and local SEO?

SEO is your whole website ranking in regular search results. Local SEO is about nearby customers: the Google map pack, your Google Business Profile, reviews, and "near me" searches. Most local businesses need both, and my monthly plans cover both.

Can I start with just an audit?

Yes. A one-time audit is $100: the full crawl, your Search Console data analyzed query by query, a competitor comparison, and a prioritized list of what's actually costing you. If you go on to a monthly plan afterward, that $100 comes off your first month.

Is there a contract?

No. My monthly plans run month to month, and you can cancel any month for any reason. You keep everything produced while you were a client.

Will you work with my competitor?

No. One client per industry per market. If you're a roofer in Grand Rapids, I won't take another Grand Rapids roofer while you're a client.
